Spanning over 40 years world wide, Margot has integrated her extensive training and diverse experience in performance with her skills as a choreographer and director for stage.
A scholarship winner with Scully Borovanski, studying with top names from the ballet world and contemporary with Graeme Murphy from Sydney Dance Company, Margot was a juvenile performer with the Australian Ballet Company and many professional ‘gigs’ on stage and television before her teens. Growing too tall for her chosen career as a ballerina became a stepping stone to a very busy and varied career.
Highlights include, the famous ‘LIDO’ in Paris, performing as Principal for many companies throughout Europe, North Africa and Asia, the ‘Fruge’ in the musical ‘SWEET CHARITY’, the concert production of Sondhiem’s ‘FOLLIES’ directed by Tony Sheldon, a regular dancer for Tony Bartuccio on channel 9 for ‘IN MELBOURNE TONIGHT’, opening of ‘CROWN CASINO’, AFI AWARDS for channel 7 and 5 productions at JUPITERS CASINO and many more.
Margot credits much of her success to her late mentor, world renowned choreographer Ross Coleman.
Most recently she was company manager and choreographer for DANZE FANTASY PRODUCTIONS and continues to be in demand as a guest teacher and mentor to performing arts schools Australia wide.
